Common puppy questions

Are you training my puppy or teaching me?

Both of you are learning. In group and private coaching, we teach you how to help your puppy and what to practise between sessions.

My puppy seems very frightened or reactive.

Many puppies are still learning how to cope with everyday life. A Puppy Pack provides individual advice specific to your puppy’s needs. If there is a bite, a safety concern or severe distress, seek behaviour support so we can guide you to the right starting point.

When can my puppy attend group classes?

Group classes welcome suitable puppies and dogs from 12 weeks. Please follow your own vet’s advice about vaccination and when your dog can safely attend. Padfoot does not check vaccination records; the decision to attend rests with you, guided by your vet. Individual puppy support can help you get started before group classes are appropriate.
