Padfoot provides owner coaching and formal behaviour assessments. We recognise that pain, health and behaviour may need to be considered together; our work does not replace veterinary diagnosis or treatment.
Our assessment process.
- Questionnaire: history, presenting concerns and household context.
- Appointment: explore the behaviour, circumstances and practical needs.
- Written management plan: recommendations and next steps, including further support where appropriate.
In-person assessments are available on the Sunshine Coast; telephone assessment is another format on the same service page.
Working together.
James Davis is an animal behaviourist with postgraduate qualifications in animal science and behaviour. We welcome appropriate veterinary input and discussion of a case with the client’s agreement. We do not prescribe medication or represent our service as veterinary treatment.
