Melissa Davis

SENIOR COACH & ADMINISTRATION

Melissa has grown up with dogs her whole life and she learns something new from every dog she meets. Her background is working with gun dogs in the UK and since moving to Queensland loves helping people with their pet dogs and expanding her knowledge with working dogs. SIMONE VOYSEY

SENIOR COACH & TEAM LEADER

Simone's drive to building better relationships with pets started close to home after she adopted a rescued dog who had severe dog reactivity due to previous experiences.

After working through comprehensive Padfoot training with her dog and learning the skills required to help communicate with our pets, she now has a passion for helping others achieve the same connection with their best mates.

brooke wild

COACH

Growing up on remote cattle properties, Brooke’s passion for training and educating animals started at a very young age. She is getting ever closer to completing high school, and plans to continue her love for animals as a liberty performer with her team of horses and dogs (and cattle). She is always willing to learn new aspects of animal husbandry and other training techniques to further her knowledge in the industry. Brooke’s main goal is to be a vital part of the Padfoot team and to help other people better understand and build an important relationship between themselves and their dogs.

Chelsea Rizzoli

COACH

Chelsea always knew she wanted to work with animals. From watching Steve Irwin and caring for her pets as a child, to adopting her first dog... and then her second... she has always been passionate about sharing life with animals and understanding their qualities and needs on a deep level. Navigating reactivity with her young dog turned out to be a blessing, as it led to enrolment in Padfoot's Foundation Training! After completing this course, Chelsea noticed a serious improvement in not only her pup's reactivity, but her own reactivity and anxiety reduced significantly as well! It is an absolute honour to now be a part of the Padfoot team, living the dream and creating a more enjoyable world for local dogs and their humans!

Alyssa Jackson

COACH

After adopting a very energetic, reactive dog Alyssa tried many different training styles before finding the Padfoot Way. Seeing her relationship with her dog continue to grow as they learnt new skills has inspired Alyssa to help others on their dog training journeys. By strengthening the connection between pet and person, the everyday becomes that much more fun.

Jannette Harris

COACH

Imagining a world devoid of dogs? Inconceivable! After fostering a failed assistance dog due to size not capabilities, Jannette transitioned into the aged care sector. Within the corridors of retirement homes, she strolled, bringing solace to those yearning for cherished moments with a furry companion. This ignited a desire to continue this work, driven by her affection for both our seniors and our canine friends. While she pursues her Cert 3 in Dog Training, Jannette also dedicates her time to volunteering at Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge. Notably, she assumes a role on the Management Committee, acting as the ambassador of SCARs with Sunshine Coast Council, making visits to schools for their Pet Awareness Program. Additionally, she imparts training and exercise to the dogs sheltered at SCARs, contributing her expertise and care.

Chantelle Smith

COACH

Hi, my name is Chantelle. I am originally from Canada if you’re wondering what part of America I’m from. Growing up in a small town on Vancouver Island I had a menagerie of pets. I raised rabbits, ducks and turtles. I had many cats, a gorgeous German Shepherd named Mia, hybrid wolves, Lobo and Timber, and a horse, Reese, as well. I moved to Australia in 2012 and finally got the puppy I always dreamed of last year. After bringing Onyx to Padfoot for my training I was lucky enough to be welcomed to the team. I’m an Early Childhood Educator with a passion for education and connecting with nature. Educating people on how to have a better relationship with their dogs is the next step in my personal journey in education. I look forward to meeting you and your pups!
